Quick answer
Sydney Airport has one international terminal (T1) and two domestic terminals (T2 and T3) on opposite sides of the runway. Tell your chauffeur company your flight number and they will meet you at the right terminal after you collect your bags. With Australian Chauffeurs Group, your chauffeur tracks the flight, waits inside arrivals with a name sign and walks you to the car.
Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport in Mascot is about eight kilometres south of the CBD. The international and domestic terminals are separated by the runways, so a chauffeur needs to know exactly where you land. Here is what happens from touchdown to the kerb.
Which terminal will I arrive at?
| Terminal | Used for | What to tell us |
|---|---|---|
| T1 International | All international flights | Your flight number and whether you have checked bags |
| T3 Domestic | Qantas domestic flights | Your flight number |
| T2 Domestic | Most other domestic airlines | Your flight number and airline |
Airline terminal allocations can change, so the flight number is the most important detail. Your chauffeur checks it against live flight data on the day.
Where will my chauffeur meet me?
Your chauffeur waits inside the arrivals hall near the exit from baggage collection, holding a sign with your name. They help with luggage and walk you to the car, which is parked a short walk away. If you prefer a kerbside pickup, tell us when you book and we will arrange a meeting point by text on the day.
What should I do after I land?
- Turn your phone on — your chauffeur may text when they arrive at the terminal.
- Clear immigration and customs (international arrivals) and collect your bags.
- Walk out into the arrivals hall and look for your name sign.
- If you are held up at customs or baggage, there is no need to rush: we track the flight and keep in touch.
How long does the drive into Sydney take?
The CBD is usually 20 to 40 minutes away depending on traffic, and the trip to the Eastern Suburbs, North Shore or Parramatta varies more with peak hours. Your fare with Australian Chauffeurs Group is fixed when you book and includes tolls, parking and GST, so traffic does not change the price.
Can I book a car for a group or with child seats?
Yes. Luxury SUVs take up to four passengers with four suitcases, people movers up to seven with five, and vans up to eleven with eight. Baby capsules, child seats and boosters are fitted on request before pickup.
