Quick answer
Before booking wedding cars, confirm the exact vehicles, how many hours are included, how the run sheet and photo stops will work, who drives, what decorations come with the car, and what happens if timings slip. Get everything in writing and book early — spring and summer Saturdays fill months in advance.
Wedding transport is easy to leave until late, but the cars carry the people who matter most on the day, at the moments the photographer is waiting. These twelve questions help you compare companies fairly and avoid surprises.
Questions about the cars
- Which exact vehicles will we get, and can we see them before the day?
- How many passengers does each car seat comfortably in a wedding dress?
- Are ribbons or other decorations included, and can you match our colours?
- Is there a backup vehicle if one breaks down?
Questions about timing
- How many hours are included, and when does the clock start and stop?
- Can you plan the route between home, ceremony, photos and reception with us beforehand?
- What happens if the ceremony or photos run late?
- How early will the chauffeur arrive at each pickup?
Questions about people and guests
- Who will drive, and will they be in formal attire?
- Can you shuttle guests between the ceremony and reception?
- Can you arrange a departure car at the end of the night?
- What is in the written confirmation, and what are the deposit and cancellation terms?

How far ahead should we book?
As soon as your date and venues are set. Spring and summer Saturdays book out first, and popular vehicles go early. Booking well ahead also gives time to walk through the run sheet together, which is where most wedding-day delays are prevented.
Australian Chauffeurs Group provides presentation sedans such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7 Series and Bentley Flying Spur, plus vans for guests, in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Perth. Wedding cars are quoted by the hour or as a package built around your run sheet.
